Enter the cottage through the pretty private enclosed courtyard, with seasonal flowers in terracotta pots and wrought iron furniture for alfresco dining.
You will immediately feel welcome on entering the hall, giving access to all of the rooms. A built in cupboard contains many useful utility items including iron, ironing board and cool bag with thermos and a picnic set. The framed drawings and etchings give a flavour of the local area.
The spacious sitting/dining room with a lofty ceiling, stone fireplace and stove is a stunning room. With comfortable high quality sofas, a mix of antique oak and reproduction furniture, a flat screen digital freeview TV, DVD player, and digital radio. Bring your own laptop to use our internet access at no extra charge. There is a good selection of books, magazines, DVD’s, CD’s, and games.
Rich terracotta in the twin bedroom create an air of sumptuous luxury. Again beamed, with a large built-in mirrored wardrobe and an extra storage cupboard for suitcases. The walls are hung with antique prints and the top quality 3ft beds with deep mattresses will ensure a perfect nights sleep.
All beds are made up with crisp cotton bed linen, and both bedrooms have hair dryers.
The pretty beamed double bedroom is furnished with matching painted furniture. A beautiful patchwork quilt and botanical prints make this a true “country cottage“ bedroom. You are bound to delight in this cosy room and are able to star gaze through the Velux window from the comfort of the luxurious double bed.
Bathroom with W.C., wash basin, bath with power shower over. Bath and hand towels, bathrobes. Luxury toiletries provided.
The fully equipped separate kitchen, although tiny, has a real slate floor, and everything is reached without using up too much energy. It has a Neff oven, ceramic hob, fridge with ice box, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave/grill, ample cooking utensils. With tea towel, towel, apron and oven gloves, and complementary welcome pack.
