Robin Sewell, esteemed artist and local resident of Steeple Ashton, married to photographer Kathryn Faulkner.
Guests staying in Coachmans Cottage will have an opportunity to see some of Robin’s work at
Andelli Art, in South Horrington, Nr. Wells. As part of the Somerset Art Weeks Festival.
Robin was born in 1951 and educated in Leeds, Yorkshire.
He began his art education in 1969 on the Foundation Course at Jacob Kramer College of Art in Leeds. Following on at the Cardiff College of Art and the Slade School of Fine Art in London.
Robin was Senior lecturer in fine art from 1980 at Maidstone College of Art, then KIAD, retired from The University of the Creative Arts, Canterbury, Kent in 2012.
His studios have been in London 1973 – 2011, Umbria Italy 2011 – 2016, and now in Steeple Ashton, Wiltshire. His paintings are in collections internationally.

The exhibition Back to the Future IV brings together the work of four artists, the common link is that they all studied together at The Jacob Kramer College in Leeds exactly five decades ago.
