Seasonal Sparkle through November and December at Coachmans Cottage

Stourhead Gardens: The magical, after-dark, illuminated trail

Selected dates from 29th November and through December. For the very first time at Stourhead the tree-tops will glisten and the gardens will shimmer and sparkle. It's definitely the most wonderful time of the year to wander beneath unique tree canopies drenched in seasonal colour and dripping with shards of light, frosty snowflakes, stars and baubles.

Salisbury Cathedral. Darkness to Light - The Advent Procession.

The service this year will be held on Friday 29 November at 19.00 (doors open 18.00), Saturday 30 November at 19.00 (doors open 18.00) and Sunday 1 December at 17.00 (doors open 16.00). All are welcome. There are no tickets required for this service and admission will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Montpesson House, Salisbury. A Victorian Christmas. 

The house, tea-room and shop will be open every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Saturday 23 November to Sunday 22 December between 11am and 3.30pm. This year the ground floor rooms of the house will be decorated for a Victorian Christmas, inspired by the diaries of resident Jinny Townsend. Beautifully decorated Christmas trees and displays of festive food.

Wind your way through the trees to discover a wonderland of light and magic, meeting woodland characters along the way.
