Covid-19 We're Good to Go

We have made changes to minimise the impact of Covid 19 for guests at Coachmans Holiday Cottage.

We have completed Covid 19 Cleaning and Risk Assessment training.

We have reviewed our cleaning and safety protocols to help protect you, our cleaner and ourselves.  This will mean that things are slightly different, which we feel sure you will understand.

We still want you to feel welcome and enjoy your stay with us.

Cleaning will take extra time, and we will also give the 72 hour period between guest bookings after which the Covid-19 virus should no longer survive on surfaces. In addition to our usual deep cleaning the cottage will undergo disinfecting. Guests health is high priority at Coachmans Cottage.

On arrival…

Please park on the drive ready to unload, you will find the outside 5 bar gate open.  Please contact us to confirm your arrival, we will probably see you, if not call 01380 870764.

We will come and say hello – keeping a 2 metre distance. The key will be ready for you to access the cottage, when necessary lights will be switched on, and there will be laminated information ready to “introduce” you to Coachmans Cottage.

Please check in on the NHS Covid -19 App using the QR Code you will find in the cottage, the app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.

During your stay…

Coachmans Cottage will have a supply of cleaning materials, including disinfectant, tissues, hand wash, sanitiser, cloths and disposable gloves for guests use.

If you show any signs of Covid-19 infection during your stay, please let us know.  The Government advice is to return to your primary residence, and self-isolate for a period of 7.

In the event that it is not possible for you to return home, the extra period spent in Coachmans Cottage will be charged at the full rate.

At all times during your stay, please maintain a distance of at least two metres from ourselves.

If you need us for anything, please call 01380 870764. If you can’t get a reply, please come and ring the outside bell and then walk back so that you are metres behind the gate. If we’re in, we’ll come out!

Some things may be missing – to reduce the risk of touch contamination, this means that ornaments, paper information leaflets, books, games, etc. have been kept to a minimum.

Before you depart...

We respectfully ask you to:-
1). Empty rubbish bins, tying the bags securely and putting them in the specified dustbin.
2). Strip the bed of duvet cover, pillow cases and fitted sheet and place them in the plastic bin liner provided, leaving the securely tied bag outside the cottage.
3). Put all used crockery, cutlery, pans, etc. into the dishwasher and run it on a hot wash...please do NOT empty the dishwasher before you leave.
4). Open all windows including the Velux roof lights, and doors to allow max. ventilation.

In line with Government advice...

Please remember that you should always wear a mask and maintain the 2 metre distance regulation in all public places.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

We look forward to welcoming you to Coachmans Cottage.
